To systematize and make more efficient the
control of compliance with the constitutional
mandate and the legal provisions approved,
called this Thursday Esteban Lazo Hernández,
president of the National Assembly of People's
Power (ANPP), when leading a meeting of
directors of the permanent work commissions ,
according to the website of the Cuban Parliament.
The deputies presented the preliminary
conclusions of the comparative study of the
results of the balance sheets of the Central State
Administration Bodies, the Economic-social
Strategy to face the economic crisis and the
prioritized programs.
María Concepción González, president of the Services Attention Commission, detailed the procedure that, from different branches
of this sector, allows establishing the correspondence between the Guidelines approved in the 7th. Party Congress and its
expression in the Economic Strategy and public policies, with an emphasis on advancing the computerization of society, exports,
foreign investment, transportation and tourism.
The verification of the policy of granting subsidies for the construction of houses transcended; the follow-up of actions to prevent
gender violence, and the Program for the care of infertile couples, among other issues.
The results of the verification of compliance with the main lines of work and the 2020 Budget in the municipal assemblies of
People's Power were also analyzed.
Miriam Brito Sarroca, president of the Commission for Attention to Local Bodies, reported that said verification was carried out
considering the recommendations contained in the Opinion of the Economic, Constitutional and Legal Affairs commissions to the
Budget Law for this year.
The Agrifood Commission verified, in 25 production bases, the fulfillment of the program of production and collection of dry grain
corn for animal feed, and the impact that the increase in the price of the collection has had on the producers.
Esteban Lazo Hernández insisted on the need for systematic monitoring of the agreements adopted by the ANPP.
